Rocky Mountain Region ready for ASCS Montana Nationals
TULSA, Okla. (July 22, 2003) - Randi Miller of Rapid City, SD, leads the way into this weekend's American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain Region Montana Nationals at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, MT, on Friday and Saturday night (July 25-26).
Miller, who swept both nights of last year's ASCS Montana Nationals at Electric City Speedway, has notched five victories this season in ASCS Rocky Mountain Region competition, amassing a 94 point lead over defending series champion Mike Dreiling, who has made three trips to victory lane this season.
While Miller and Dreiling have combined for eight wins, six other drivers have posted single victories through the series first 14 events this season.
Miller and Dreiling will be joined in this weekend's ASCS Montana Nationals by other top Rocky Mountain Region shoes Eric Miller of Thornton, CO, who has posted one triumph this season, Jake Pierson, seventeen year-old Billings native Mason Hill and many more.
Racing is slated to begin each night at 7:30 p.m.
The ASCS Rocky Mountain Region will host 26 events at fourteen different tracks throughout Colorado, Kansas, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota and Wyoming in 2003.
