TULSA, Okla. (September 8, 2003) - The American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain Region is set to make its first appearance at the new Billings Motorsports Park in Montana this Friday and Saturday night.

With eleven feature triumphs through the series first 21 events, Randi Miller of Rapid City, SD, is approaching the 2003 ASCS Rocky Mountain Region championship with just three nights of racing remaining. Only the season finale at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City on September 20 remains after this weekend's action at Billings Motorsports Park.

Miller enters this weekend's double-header with a 184 point advantage over defending series champion Mike Dreiling of Highlands Ranch, CO. Dreiling, with three feature victories to his credit this season, is just five points ahead of Eric Miller in the battle for second in the points race.

Rookie pilot Jake Pierson of Bellvue, CO, is currently ranked fourth in points, with Scott Milan of Ft. Collins, CO, rounding out the current top five. Completing the current top ten are Geoff Dodge (Colorado Springs, CO), Mason Hill (Billings, MT), Jace Pennetta (Littleton, CO), T.J. Thorne (Salt Lake City, UT) and Brian Jamison (Littleton, CO).

Racing action atop the new three-eighths mile semi-banked clay oval is set to go green at 7:00 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday night.
