(LAKE PERRIS, CA - OCTOBER 29, 2002) The strongest field of Non Wing Sprint Cars assembled anywhere in the 2002 season will be at Perris Auto Speedway this Thursday through Saturday for the prestigious running of the 7th Annual Temecula Valley Pipe and Supply $100,000.00 - 100-Lap Budweiser Oval Nationals.
Cars and stars from across the nation are converging on The PAS not only for the largest purse in the history of Non Wing Sprint Car racing, but also for the next to last round of the 2002 Non Wing World Championship Series.

Several other drivers, including New Jersey legend Billy Pauch, Texas' Travis Rilat and Mike Boat of Arizona, have given verbal confirmation that they will entering when they get to the track on Thursday.
All three nights of high intensity racing will feature all of the entered cars. Thursday and Friday's shows will be comprised of qualifying for each car, heat races, preliminary and 20-Lap A main events. On Saturday, it will be all main event action culminating with the $30,000.00 to win 100-lap A main.
In addition to the $30,000.00 first place prize, the winner will also take home a one of a kind, custom designed champion's ring and jacket commemorating the historic race.
Jim Naylor, celebrating his silver anniversary as promoter of the Ventura Raceway, is the Grand Marshall for this year's Oval Nationals.
