ASCS PATRIOTS DOUBLE UP AT FULTON SATURDAY

TULSA, Okla. (September 2, 2008)- The ASCS Patriots started off 2008 at the famed Fulton Speedway; but before the feature could hit the track, a downpour pushed the 25-lap event to this Saturday, forming a double dose of the wonderful winged things.

The Central New York Staple will play host to a pair of 25-lap ASCS Patriot Features this Saturday Night, kicking off a jam-packed month of September. While the first feature's starting lineup has already been determined, the field for the second A-Main is wide open.

With 22 top teams already locked in to the first feature, the groundwork for a massive field is already in place. Thirty-two cars were in attendance back in May, and that was under terrible weather conditions, so this Saturday could be even stronger.

The high-banked 3/8-mile hosted the Patriot Region on the Saturday following Labor Day last year; with Justin Barger running to the $2,007 win. While the Breen Brothers mixed it up, Chuck Hebing was able to fend off Jason Barney for the A-Verdi Storage Containers King of Central New York Series. Saturday is not the final race of the 2008 Series, but it will have a major impact determining who wears the crown.

Included in the night of action will also be the Riverside Bar and Grill Four Laps of Fame Dash for the second feature. Jeff Cook scored the dash win back in May over current ASCS Patriot point leader Bryan Howland.JBoth were fast on that night but will have a tall task ahead of them to chase down the front row, which will be occupied by Don Adamczyk and Chuck Hebing.

The second feature will be open to any competitors, regardless of attendance from back in May. This will allow a number of top teams that were unable to run back then a chance to tackle the Fulton Speedway.

Racing will get underway at 7:00 p.m., with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.ASCSracing.com or www.ASCSpatriotsprints.com.
