ASCS PATRIOTS TRY AGAIN AT THE HILL ON SUNDAY

TULSA, Okla. (June 6, 2006) -- After the Bobcat of Buffalo ASCS Patriot Sprint Group debut at The Hill Raceway in Bradford, PA, was washed out this past Sunday night, the series will make another try atop the high-banked, 0x00bc-mile clay oval this Sunday night.

A strong cast of contenders, including defending series champion Bryan Howland, Stateline Speedway ASCS Patriot winner Rich Swarthout, Dave Wickham and Don Adamczyk will be among those trying to derail Chuck Hebing's early season hot streak in ASCS Patriot Sprint Group action.

Hebing has stormed to victory lane in three of four ASCS Patriot feature events thus far in 2006 to assume the early season point lead by 16 markers over Howland.

Racing action will begin at 6:30, with the ASCS Patriots running second on the card to ensure that the drivers return home as early as possible.JAt 5:00 p.m., the speedway will host a driver autograph session. Race teams are encouraged to be prepared to spend 15 to 20 minutes signing autographs and are urged to bring hero cards or any other item worth autographing for this occasion.

This event will feature bonuses throughout the pack including $50 extra for second through fourth in the feature and at least $400 for anyone in the top ten at the end of the night.J The Hill Raceway is located near Bradford, PA, 3.6 miles east of US 219 on SR 46, then 2.9 miles northeast on SR 246, then 0.2 mile south on SR 646. The 2006 Bobcat of Buffalo ASCS Patriot Sprint Group schedule consists of 22 nights of racing at fourteen different tracks throughout New York, Pennsylvania and Canada.

In its 15th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing in the United States, the American Sprint Car Series will present approximately 180 nights of racing in 2006 including the National Tour and its Regional Tours (Gulf South, Mid-South, Midwest, Northern Plains, Patriot Sprint Group, Rocky Mountain, Sooner, Southern and Sprints on Dirt).
