For the second straight week, the Midwest Sprintcar Series championship night at the Kopellah Speedway was rained out. Due to morning showers and lingering drizzle, the show was canceled and has been rescheduled for next Friday, September 9th. The championship title is still up for grabs between Roger Rager and Ehren Layton and the Kamrath duo of Greg and Tom isn't far behind. It should be an exciting conclusion to the MSS season and hopefully it will stay dry.
