TULSA, Okla. (July 31, 2007) -- The American Sprint Car Series will be well represented over four nights of action in Iowa beginning on Thursday with the 17th Annual ASCS Knoxville Nationals before winding down with Sunday night's Brodix Tournament of Champions atop the famed half-mile.

Twenty-three drivers will be competing under the ASCS banner in Sunday night's $5,000-to-win Brodix Tournament of Champions event. Each of these, along with a number of other ASCS shoes, will be in action as well in the $10,000-to-win ASCS Knoxville Nationals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Well over 100 entries have been received for the ASCS Knoxville Nationals, with a total of 62 drivers representing 18 different sanctioning bodies invited to compete in Sunday's Brodix Tournament of Champions.

Nine of the twenty-three ASCS representatives for the Brodix Tournament of Champions come from the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series, with the other 14 representing seven ASCS Regions including Coastal, Gulf South, Midwest, Northern Plains, Patriot, Rebel and Sprints on Dirt.

Current O'Reilly ASCoT National point leader Gary Wright is one of six ASCS points leaders that will be in action over the coming weekend at Knoxville Raceway, with others including Tim Norman (ASCS Sprints on Dirt), T.J. Winegardner (ASCS Rebel Region), Chuck Hebing (ASCS Patriots), Natalie Sather (ASCS Midwest Region) and Chuck Swenson (ASCS Northern Plains Region).
