Dewease Takes First Victory In Hamilton MotorsporTS J&J

McKENZIE, TN - Lance Dewease is having a career season in 2001 and he capped it by claiming his 20th win of the season at Hagerstown Speedway's Octoberfest 350 Super Sprints feature on Sunday. Dewease took the lead after contact with race leader Sean Michael late in the race and led the final laps in the #77 J&J sprinter to claim the $10,000 prize and his first win since joining the team three weeks ago.

Dewease was joined by two other J&J competitors in the top five. Ed Lynch, Jr. finished third in the Howard Concrete #2L J&J while Fast Freddy Rahmer finished fifth in Joe Harz's #88h J&J.

Andy Hillenburg scored a pair of second place finishes driving his #2 Luxaire J&J in Pennzoil World of Outlaws action at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX while 2001 WoO Gumout Champion, Daryn Pittman, finished fourth in his #3 J&J. Terry Gray, who had won five consecutive USCS races, came up one spot short at the "Sunshine State Shootout" at Volusia Raceway Park finishing second in his #10 J&J.
