Heartland 305 Sprint Series founder, Bill Woodworth, announced today that after consulting several engine builders and doing extensive research, an appropriate engine package has been put together and the "Gladiator 305" motor will have the rules finalized shortly. "Our goal was to have a reliable non-claimer engine that made 350 H.P. at a cost under $4000 if it were purchased from an engine builder, and this goal has been met", Woodworth stated. This should make the series more accessible and affordable to those who wish to get a start in sprint car racing. The official rules will be made available at the Heartland 305 Series informational meeting which will be held at the meeting room of the Norseman Restaurant in Cokato, MN at 5PM on Sunday, November 19th. All potential drivers, media members, and promoters are encouraged to attend.
