October 3, 1998 IN VICTORY LANE AT GREENWOOD VALLEY By Than Mitchell

Thunder and Lightning was on the schedule Saturday night at the Greenwood Valley Action Track. Instead, rain took first place sending everyone home until next weekend. The Annual Thunder and Lightning show offers the season's largest purse meaning drivers, owners and pit crews waited, hoping for a break in the drizzle, until the event was finally postponed. Placing first and second in Friday's special Feature gave Brent Boyer or Bloomsburg and Steve Furlong of Selinsgrove guranteed starting positions for next Saturday's make-up show.

Gates will open at noon, warm-ups begin at 3:00, with all Kart and Micro classes running. Tell racing fans and non-fans where the Action is; The Greenwood Valley Action Track.
