J&J Auto Racing Joins Empire Super Sprints for the 2004 Season.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One of the largest sprint car manufacturers in the business has joined the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) for the fist time for the 2004 racing season. Jack and Bonnie Elam's J&J Auto Racing will provide large award at the season end annual awards banquet in November.

The highest finishing driver in the Tour 2004 point standings running a J&J Chassis will be awarded $600 off a new frame for next year. Last year saw Freehold, N.Y.'s John Karklin Jr. place fourth in points with his J&J and will be gunning for the ESS title with a new car at the ready.

J&J has taken sprint stars such as Donnie Schatz, Lance Dewease, Ed Lynch Jr., Fred Rahmer, Daryn Pittman, and female sensation Erin Crocker to sprint car fame over the past few seasons and 2004 is looking to be no different.

J&J joins as list of over 50 companies that are backing ESS for the 21st. Anniversary tour and it's a list that continues to grow each day. A schedule of some 30 events from Quebec to Pennsylvania as well as the annual Tournament of Champions at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Iowa is being finalized promising to make the 2004 season one of the most exciting in history.

While record cold temperatures blanket the northeast, the world of the Empire Super Sprints is starting to heat up and it's coming to a dirt track near you!!
