Daniel Lampron is Ready for his First Full Season with the Empire Super Sprints.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Following the footsteps of good friend and now defending Empire Super Sprint (ESS) champion Alain Bergeron, Daniel Lampron is the latest driver from the French speaking province of Quebec to join the tour which is brought to you by Jacobs Motorsports for 2007.

A very successful businessman with his company Coffrage Daniel Lampron, which specializes in prefabricated formwork since 1986, the St. Valere, Quebec native will bring his always sharp looking equipment to each and every ESS show for the upcoming season.

As the main sponsor for Bergeron since his debut with ESS, Lampron has a few starts in a sprint car as a teammate to Bergeron back in the 2002 season. Since then he has been behind the wheel of a mini-sprint racing in both his native Quebec as well as the Central New York Mini Sprint organization where he picked up an A-Main win last year in August at the Woodhull Raceway, a track on the ESS schedule for '07.

A Force 5 chassis will be used with Wesmar providing the power and even though most of New York and Canada is in a deep freeze, Lampron has already taken laps in his new mount. Running at the East Bay Raceway near Tampa, Fl. as a part of the King of 360 Nationals, he along with fellow ESS mates Bergeron, Steve Poirier, Doug Emery and John Karklin Jr. were in the pits on each night. While he didn't crack an A-Main starting lineup, much needed laps was the goal before the ESS season kicks off in May.

"We're going to have fun!" quipped the newest Quebec addition to ESS. "I have been getting myself ready to run the full ESS tour and now is the time before my time passes. Our goal is to make every race and see if we can maybe get an A-Main win before it's over."

Other sponsors on the sharp purple and yellow winged machine will include Foundations J.P and Gagnon and Lessard. The number will be his traditional 52L and a smile will always greet you when you make a visit to his pit area.
