November 13 was held, at Syracuse NY, the 'Empire Super Sprints' Banquet and Team Bergeron was present. Saturday morning, the drivers and officials met for the annual meeting, concerning different questions about some rules for the next season.

In the evening, drivers, teams and officials participated in the Banquet and to distribute several honors and prices money. Alain Bergeron was crowned Champion of the DASH series and the Saint Pie native was also a recipient of the 'Hard Luck Award', underlining the difficult year (accidents, bad luck) the team had in 2004.

By winning the first three DASH races of the season, Alain Bergeron had taken a serious option on the title but it was not easy as Jeff Van Dusen finished the season only four points behind the leader. Alain Bergeron's exploit is worthy because the Quebec driver failed to participate in five races of the series because of accidents and mechanical problems in mid-season and at the end of 2004.

Let mention that Alain Bergeron and his team have already begun to prepare the 2005 season. More news to come...

Alain Bergeron's hometown is Saint-Pie-de-Bagot and he is a former champion in Mini-Sprint and ATV, both on dirt and ice surfaces.
