Win for Alain Bergeron at Albany-Saratoga Speedway NY.

Yesterday evening (Friday), Alain Bergeron came back strong as only the champions can make it, by winning the A-Main, at Albany-Saratoga Speedway NY. Last week, the driver of Saint Pie missed the A-Main qualifying but it was without counting on the determination of the team members of Team Bergeron.

Starting third on the grid, Alain Bergeron attacked the leader, Billy White, from the very first laps. It is in at the eleventh lap, that Bergeron took the lead passing White from the inside. From there, he began to dig the distance between him and the other drivers. Laps were passing and Bergeron had to be cautious passing the lap cars using the bottom of the track, and sometimes the top groove. It was a very popular win for the local fans that know well Bergeron and came to discuss with him after the race.

There were no less than 35 Sprint Cars in the pits at Malta NY trying to qualify for a place among the 24 available for the A-Main . The evening had begun well with a win in his heat, allowing one place in the DASH race.

'The car was running very well tonight and I want to thank all our sponsors, fans, as well as everyone who supported us throughout the winter allowing us to return in 2005 with a very good car ', to declare Alain Bergeron.

That win represent, for Alain Bergeron, its sixth win in the ' Great Empire Sprints ' series.

Next week is off for the drivers of the ESS, while in two weeks, there will be three races in three days...
