Matt Rogerson used several restarts to slip past early leader Jeff Nehring near the midway point and held on to take his first win of the season at the 360 Sprint Fair Special at the East Moline Speedway in East Moline, IL last Tuesday evening. Rogerson piloted Bart Schneiderman's #22 sprinter to the $750 victory.

Dustin Whiting found himself on the pole by virtue of his victory in the Dash for Cash, but Jeff Nehring jumped off the outside of the front row to take the early lead. Rogerson quickly moved past Whiting to take second and set his sights on the leader. A red flag flew on lap 8 when Jesse Gianetto and Bryan Hetrick made contact in turn 2. Gianetto slowed and Tony Daniels slammed into the stalled #D1 machine. Gianetto was finished for the evening and Daniels would return before flipping again in turn 1 with a handful of laps remaining.

The restart saw Tim Moore collide with Hetrick in turn 3 with Hetrick receiving a flat left rear. On the next restart, Moore made contact with Whiting in turn 4 and sent the polesitter flipping. Whiting was finished and Moore was sent to the tail for rough driving. It was on the next restart that Rogerson slipped past Nehring to take the lead and he never looked back as he cruised to the win. Nehring held off Jimmy Davies, John Schulz, and Rogerson's car owner Schneiderman to take second. Heat races for the 13 360 sprints went to Nehring and Rogerson. <pre> A-main: 1.Matt Rogerson, 2.
