PENNSYLVANIA POSSE RETURNS HOME AFTER VICTORIOUS FLORIDA CAMPAIGN David Reininger - Motorsport News International

Hanover, PA (February 16, 1999) - The Posse returns to their home turf this weekend when two of Central Pennsylvania's top Sprint car tracks kick off their 1999 racing season. Central Pennsylvania drivers took six out of eight All Star sprint car races in Florida during Speedweeks. Jeff Shepard and Billy Pauch each took a pair of victories with Kevin Gobrecht and Greg Hodnett getting one a piece. When the Central Pennsylvania season opens this weekend there will be plenty of exciting racing as the tough competition always draws out of state invaders to see how they measure up against the Posse.

Lincoln Speedway opens the East Coast racing season on Saturday afternoon, February 20 at 2:00 p.m. with the ICE-BREAKER 25. The winner of the 25-lap feature will take home $3,000. Thundercars are on the card at Lincoln and hot laps start at 1:30 pm.

On Sunday afternoon, February 21, Williams Grove Speedway opens their 60th Anniversary season of racing at the famous Mechanicsburg half-mile track. Sprint Cars will be the sole attraction at Williams Grove with hot laps at 1:30 and racing at 2:00 pm.

Both tracks are online with all the information needed to contact each venue. Visit Lincoln Speedway's website at www.lincolnspeedway.com. Williams Grove's website is located at www.wmgrove.com.
