GIBSONTON, FL - Sport Allen took the laurels Saturday night at East Bay Raceway as he won the non-stop 25-lap sprint car feature and also the extra $500 Top Gun Bonus from Jarret Bodiford Ford. Allen grabbed the lead from Brady Alvis on lap 10 and was never seriously challenged. A furious battle for all the top ten spots saw Johnny Gilbertson grab second ahead of Kenny Adams, who started last due to his absence by racing in Pa. the last three weeks. Rounding out the top ten was Brady Alvis, Roland Johnson, Paulie Milum, Mike Tharp, Clyde Poole, Bob Auld and Mike Senecal.

Roger Crouse won the limited late model main and grabbed a slim four point lead going into the last night of the season points championship. Danny Bowman finished third behind Forrest Gough costing him the division points lead. Bruce Watkins and Timmy Gay completed the top five. Crouse also won his fifth $500 Kensington Manor Dash for Cash.

Mike Smith won the mini-stock feature as he fought off William Hampton and Scotty Williams to the checkered flag. Tommy Pinerio and Rick Partridge were next.

After numerous yellow flags, Jack Nosbisch Jr. won his fourth late model feature taking the lead with only half a lap to go. Bobby Alexander moved closer to the points championship battle as he finished second ahead of Ken Nosbisch. Bill Howard and Rookie contender Bobby Alexander Jr., with his best finish of the year, rounded out the top five.

A 10 car pileup slimmed the 26 car street stock field ad Don Gansner won his seventh main as he nosed out Donnie Paris, Mike Kessel, Steve Burch and Richard Peacock.
