EAST BAY RACEWAY PRESS RELEASE - RACE RESULTS

GIBSONTON, FL - Kenny Adams led all 25 laps in the sprint car feature Saturday night at East Bay Raceway to win his third feature in the last four events. Points leader Roland Johnson grabbed the runner-up spot ahead of defending champion Gene Lasker in the non-stop feature.

The limited sprint car division made its first appearance of 1998 and the "Mad Painter" Clyde Poole took home the top money in the Kensington Manner Dash for Cash and ran away with the feature event. Following were Andy Kelly, Travis Bliemeister, Tim George and Robert Tyler.

Keith Nosbisch nosed out little brother Jack Nosbisch, Jr. to win his second late model main event of the season. Early leader Bobby Alexander held on to third ahead of a fast closing Donnie Tanner and John Gross in their 25 lap feature.

The 27 car limited late model feature saw John Bradley win the toughest battle of the night as he edged out David Schmauss, while Danny Bowman avoided a multi-car crash on the last lap to grab third over Johnny Parker.

Timmy Bronson won his first main of the new season in the street stock feature over Jerry Lape, Charlie Paris, Don Gransner and Mike Kessel. Forrest Gough topped the six leader mini-stock feature over William Hampton. -30-
