August 16, 2003, Tampa Bay Florida, East Bay Raceway Park, Breaking News: "Psycho Dad" Jim Greenwood's car was torn in two, leaving the rear axle in turn 1 and the front of the car came to rest in turn 2. Two wreckers were needed to remove the car from the track. The roll cage was ripped in two and "Psycho Dad" emerged from where the rear of the car used to be to the roar of the crowd and the amazement of the emergency crews on scene. Meanwhile the East Bay Raceway Park www.EastBayRaceway.com sponsored sprint car won its heat at the legendary Knoxville Nationals.

While an Eagle chassis won at the Knoxville Nationals tonite, Eagle also won in Tampa Bay. In Sprint Car action at East Bay Raceway Park, the DuiFla.com LLC Motorsports www.duifla.com Eagle piloted by Larry ''Buzz'' Brazil came from the back, from the third row to win the feature at Tampa Bay's East Bay Raceway. www.buzzbrazil.com Brazil, a University of South Florida Engineering Major, has now led the points race for 8 weeks in a row. Finishing second was Tim George from Venice, Florida. Third was Travis Blemisher.

In Late Model action, a high speed battle marred by a half dozen yellow flags was won by Keith Nobisch, Devin Dixon finished second, and points-leader Donnie Tanner finished third. Tanner hangs on to points lead.
