Sprint Car Driver Mausteller Being Treated At Geisinger Medical Center

DANVILLE, Pa. -- Sprint car driver Duane Mausteller of Bloomsburg is under the care of physicians at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for a broken right leg and ankle, according to his father, Randy Mausteller, this afternoon. Mausteller was injured in an auto racing accident during a qualifying event Saturday night at Selinsgrove Speedway.

Mausteller was attempting to qualify for the Jack Gunn Memorial Challenge Race through the B-main when his No. 21 sprint car made contact with the outside third turn wall and rolled over several times on the fifth lap of the 12-lap event. Mausteller was transported by ambulance to Geisinger immediately following the accident.

Cards can reach Mausteller at Mausteller's Service Center, 331 Scott Avenue, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
