TULSA, Okla. (April 22, 2003) - Darren Stewart, quickly establishing himself as a leading title contender on the O'Reilly American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & United Trailers, will be appearing at the Love's Travel Stop in Palestine, AR, this Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the weekend's racing action at nearby Memphis Motorsports Park.

Darren, the 2002 ASCS Newcomer of the Year, has kicked off the 2003 season in strong form, notching a pair of runner-up showings in the initial two ASCS National events after claiming a pair of wins at Little Rock and Memphis earlier in the year. Darren sits just two points out of the series lead entering this weekend's double set at MMP. Last September, the twenty year-old Bixby, OK, hotshoe scored his first career ASCS National victory atop MMP's quarter-mile oval.

Darren will be on hand at the Love's Travel Stop in Palestine, AR, at the intersection of I-40 and Hwy. 261 (I-40 Exit 233). Fans will have the opportunity to meet with the 20 year-old up-and-coming racer and get a close look at the Sparks Construction No. 91 Ostrich Racing Engines-powered Avenger from noon to 2:00 p.m. before heading out to MMP for Friday night's racing excitement.
