Creek County slates Non-Wing practice

TULSA, Okla. (April 24, 2003) - In anticipation of the American Sprint Car Series' first ever non-winged Sprint Car race, Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, OK, will hold a practice session for the non-wing Sprints on Thursday night, May 8. The ASCS Sooner Region series will shed the wings for the first time in competition on Saturday night, May 10.

The Thursday night practice session, which will be free of charge, will be from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Creek County Speedway's May 10 event, which is a points race for the American Sprint Car Series Sooner Region, is the first non-winged Sprint Car event in the twelve years of sanctioning Sprint Car racing by the ASCS.
