(Tampa Bay, Fl 2/2/05) The Canadian Leprechaun as he is called had a rough evening in last nights preliminary 410 race at East Bay Raceway. Cody Geldart who enjoyed some decent success in last weeks King of the 360 event at the same track found the sledding a bit different last night.

The car was tight in qualifying which resulted in a less than stellar 36th spot. This relegated the young Canadian to start 8th in his heat race. "We ran too low of a gear." explained Cody, "the car would not roll over and felt like it wanted to flip in the turns."

The crew led by chief Steve Moulten (formerly with Erin Crocker) to change the gear for the "B" main. Cody's luck would not change much their as he started 16th and moved up one spot to 15th at the finish.

"I decided that it was more important to get track time and be prepared for the rest of the show than to risk my equipment." explained Geldart. "Chad (Kemenah) shared some things with after the A last night and we will try those tonight. I look forward to getting out there tonight and showing what the Ohsweken/Hampshire Motors 6G can do."
