Boothill Speedway Added to O'Reilly ASCS National Slate

TULSA, Okla. (April 6, 2004) -- Boothill Speedway in Shreveport, LA, has been added to the 2004 O'Reilly American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and United Trailers slate, with the series set to take to the high-banked, 7/16-mile clay oval on Saturday night, September 25.

It will mark the first stop at Boothill Speedway for the O'Reilly ASCS National Tour since June 2, 2001, when Gary Wright topped Tim Crawley and Larry Neighbors to post the victory.

Wright recently opened the 2004 season on the ASCS National Tour by collecting his 77th career ASCS victory in the series' season opener at Delta Bowl Speedway in Tunica, MS.

With the addition of Boothill Speedway, the 2004 O'Reilly ASCS National slate now consists of 39 nights of racing at 20 different tracks throughout Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

Including the Gulf South, Sooner and Rocky Mountain Regional tours, the ASCS is currently set to sanction 90 nights of racing at 49 different tracks throughout 14 different states during 2004.
