BLOOMINGTON, IN (May 26, 2001) - We got enough rain early in the week that we thought that it would certainly clear up in time for Mike Miles to get the famous red clay of Bloomington Speedway ready for competition last night. Friday morning the track was still really wet; but Mike thought that the sun would come out and help him prepare the track for competition. It just didn't happen; and, shortly after noon, a thunderstorm hit Bloomington Speedway and made it clear that we would have no races on Friday night.

Mildly irritated, but undaunted, we will try again on June 1 with fan appreciation night. The race fan will get a full program of non winged sprint cars, O'Neal Wood Products open wheel modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center super stocks for only $5.00. Plan to be at Bloomington Speedway next Friday night.
