The Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints get ready after having the Memorial Day weekend off. The winged warriors of the AVSS return to action Saturday evening May 31 at the fast half-mile Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne IN.

The AVSS has complete four events this season and has had three different feature winners. The first race of the season was also at Baer Field and Litchfield MI driver Jason Blonde was the victor. The next week the action was at Auto City Speedway in Flint MI and Tom Fedewa took the honors. The third race of the season was at Owosso Speedway and rookie sensation Brian Lay won his first ever AVSS race. The 17th of May it was Tom Fedewa taking his second win of the season at Kalamazoo where Lay broke the all time track record in qualifications.

This will be the fifth of 19 races on the 2003 AVSS calendar. The current point's leader is Tom Fedewa and his 20 car owned by Mike Katz of Battle Creek. The Leslie MI driver has a scant three point lead over Kevin Newton of Terre Haute IN and leads Jeff Bloom of Bangor MI by nine points.

The action begins at Baer Field with Hamilton Trucking qualifying at 5 and racing at 7. The track lists the pits opening at 1 and practice at 3.
