The Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne IN has called the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series and requested another show for the 2003 season.

This season championship race will occur on the weekend of September 27-28 at the fast ½ mile oval promoted by Tom Isch.

The AVSS has raced here four times this season and Litchfield MI driver Jason Blonde has taken three of the four, with Millbury OH rookie Brian Lay capturing the fourth. This very popular oval with all AVSS racers will now wrap up the 2003 championship chase for the winged warriors of the AVSS.

The action will begin on Saturday September 27 with open practice from 12-9 CST. This practice is optional for all AVSS teams. There will be a great big party after practice is completed and camping at the track is free Saturday evening. The action begins on Sunday with pit gates opening at 7, practice starting at 8, qualifying at 11 and racing at 2. There will be announcements from the track soon as to how many support classes will also be on board for this fall finale for the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series.

The official website of the AVSS is www.supersprints.com for more information.
