ASCS2 Set for Dutton's Speedway on Sunday
TULSA, Okla. (August 28, 2007) -- The American Small Car Series, ASCS2, is set to bring the finest in Micro Sprint Car racing to a new venue over the Labor Day Holiday weekend, with Dutton's Speedway in Fort Cobb, OK, hosting the series on Sunday night.
All three ASCS Micro Sprint classes, including the 600cc Multis, Non-Wing and Restricted "A" Class, will be in action atop the 1/5-mile clay oval. Also on the card will be Dutton's Speedway's Junior Sprint and Turf Tire classes.
Leading the way into the event are ASCS2 points leaders Ryan Duke, Joel Smith and Tanner Mullens.
Duke holds a 63-point lead over Chris Berreth in the Multis, with Smith holding a narrow seven-point lead over Alex DeCamp in the Non-Wing division. With three wins in five events, Kansas shoe Mullens holds a 67-point lead over Blake Hahn in the Restricted "A" Class.
Sunday's racing action goes green at 8:00 p.m.
