ALL STAR SHARON NATIONALS WASHED OUT BY ERNESTO

CAMARGO, IL (9-2-06) -- The 26th Annual Sharon Nationals event has been postponed due to heavy rain that fell overnight and this morning as tropical depression "Ernesto" made its way into Eastern Ohio. A significant amount of rain has already moved through the area with the threat of more showers throughout the day and into the evening. "We're working on a date to reschedule this race," said series president Guy Webb. "The Sharon Nationals is always a fan favorite event and with only a few races left on our schedule in 2006 we'd like to be able to get this one in."

Greg Wilson leads the All Stars in points in the final stretch of the 2006 season, followed by Brock Mayes, Chad Blonde, and Paul May who are all in a tight battle for the runner up spot.

Chad Blonde picked up a make up feature and regular feature win last night at Butler Speedway in Quincy, MI.

The All Stars will head to Fremont Speedway on Saturday Sept. 9th for their final appearance there in 2006 as the season winds down to a close.
