Sand Mountain Hosts All Stars Feb. 18 and 19

CAMARGO, IL - The brand new Sand Mountain Speedway in Fort Meade, FL will host the two-day All Star Sprint Florida Winternationals Friday and Saturday February 18 and 19. Don't miss the start of a new chapter in Florida All Star racing.

See the Nations' premiere 410 winged sprint series battle it out for $5000 to win each night. This will be the first ever sprint car event on the 1/3 mile high banked oval. Sand Mountain will be the new home of weekly Florida sprint car racing this year.

Admission prices are adults: $20.00, children under five: free, children, 6-12: $15.00 and pit passes are $35.00. A full program of time trials, heat races, dash, consolation events and an A Main will be held each night.

Gates open at 3:00 pm with racing at 7:30 pm and camping is available. The track is located at 1980 US 17 South in Fort Meade, Florida.

The 2005 All Star season kicks off at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville (Daytona) on Tue. Feb. 8, Wed. Feb 9, Thursday Feb. 10 and Saturday Feb. 12.

A full program of time trials, heat races, consolation events and an A Main will be held each night. The Haulmark Dash for the top fastest four All Stars will also be run the first three nights at Volusia
