All Stars ready to Challenge the NCRA in "Rumble on the Prairie" May 9-10-11.
PONCE INLET, FL -- The cars and stars of the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car series are preparing to invade the home turf of the National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) May 9, 10 and 11.
The three race challenge series is dubbed as the "Rumble on the Prairie" and drivers for both organizations will vie for bragging rights at three different speedways in Kansas and Oklahoma. Action begins with the first ever visit for both groups at the O'Reilly Auto Parts Motor Speedway located on the grounds of the Heartland Park Speedway in Topeka, KS on Thursday, May 9. Action shifts to 81 Speedway in Wichita on Friday night, May 10 with the three race swing concluding Saturday night May 11 at the Tulsa Speedway in Tulsa, OK.
The All Stars and NCRA challenges have been held for the past six seasons at the annual August Thunder Through the Plains tours, and last season the NCRA came to the East and Midwest for the five race Eastern Challenge Series.
In June the NCRA will come to Ohio and Indiana for a three race challenge series June 14-15-16 at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, OH), K-C Raceway (Chillicothe, OH) and Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, IN).
The All Stars and Interstate Racing Association (IRA) recently concluded a co-sanctioned event at Attica Raceway Park with record car counts and that trend of large fields is expected to continue with the All Stars-NCRA series.
Current points leader Kenny Jacobs (Holmesville, OH) leads the way to Kansas for the All Stars. Other top All Star drivers expected include Chad Kemenah (Findlay, OH), Dean Jacobs (Wooster, OH), Rodney Duncan (Lockbourne, OH), Danny Smith (Danville, IN), Kevin Frey (Mechanicsburg, PA), Mike Wagner (Harrisonville, PA), Leonard Lee (Milo, IA), Bill Rose (Plainfield, IN), Greg Wilson (Benton Ridge, OH), Kelly Kinser (Bloomington, IN), Barry Ruble (Burton, OH), Bruce Robenalt (Tiffin, OH) and Jeff Shepard (Upperco, MD).
With the NCRA opening their season at these events, drivers expected include defending points titlist Gary Wright (Hooks, TX), Wayne Johnson (Oklahoma City), Sean Walden (Bentonville, AR), Jerrod Wilson (Siatook, OK), Earnest Jennings (Norman, OK), Brooke Tatnell (New South Wales, AU), Matt Saint (Tulsa, OK), Joe Bustillos (Broken Arrow, OK), Darren Stewart (Bixby, OK), Aaron Berryhill (Broken Arrow), Mike Peters (Wichita), Sean McClelland (Tulsa), Dan Oswalt (Iola, KS), Donnie Crawford (Tulsa), Zach Chappell (Talala, OK), Steve King (Jetmore, KS), Rich Bubak (Arvada, CO) and Larry Neighbors (Oklahoma City).
