The All Star sprints hit the track for the first time in the new millennium with the traditional Florida Speedweeks series at Volusia February, 2000.

Volusia Speedway Park will host All Star Sprint Car races Feb. 10-13, 2000 at the half-mile dirt track located 20 minutes from Daytona Beach.

Track owner Dick Murphy said next year's event will pay $4,000 to win on the three preliminary nights and $7,000 to win for the Sunday night final.
