All Star awards banquet honors Chad Kemenah.

CAMARGO, IL -- The All Star Circuit of Champions honored their 2002 champion Chad Kemenah at their annual awards banquet Friday night December 6 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Indianapolis. The banquet was held in conjunction with the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade show.

Kemenah and car owner Jim Harble shared center stage for the banquet, celebrating the Findlay, Ohio driver?s first career All Star championship. He was awarded a championship trophy and the first place points fund check. Kenny Jacobs ended up second in the final point standings, followed by leading feature winner Jeff Shepard, Danny Smith, Greg Wilson, Dean Jacobs, Kelly Kinser, Mike Wagner, Bill Rose and Barry Ruble.

Several special awards were handed out including the KSE Racing Products Rookie of the Year award to Bill Rose, the Crew Chief of the Year award to Brian Kemenah, crew chief of the championship No. 15K team. Kemenah?s award was presented by Dave Mateer. The Outerwears Hard Charger award for the most cars passed in A Main action during the season went to Dean Jacobs.

The 2002 season awards included points fund checks and product contingency awards to the top ten owners and drivers. Other special awards went to Denny Ashworth from All Pro Heads, a set of Brodix Heads to Kelly Kinser, a $2,000 certificate to Kenny Jacobs from Maxim Chassis, rod ends from QA1 Precision Products to Jim Harble and Bill Rose and sets of QA1 shocks to Kenny Jacobs and Al Harrison.

Haulmark Trailers, a corporate sponsor of the series for the past several seasons, was introduced as the series? title sponsor for the 2003 season. Haulmark was represented by Matt Arnold.

The 2003 All Star season kicks off in Florida in February, commencing at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville (Daytona) Feb. 6-9 and continuing at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton (Tampa) Feb. 12-15.
