Deming Champion Aaron Fell To Race The 410 Series
Abbotsford, British Columbia - October 30, 2001 - With the 2001 season in the rear view mirror Aaron Fell, of Abbotsford, B.C. will race the 410 sprint division at Skagit Speedway in 2002.
Fell began the 2001 season with a streak of four quick wins then maintained a top five presence to throughout the season to bring home his fifth win and the series championship on the final race of the season.
With this successful season in hand plans were in the works to be racing at Skagit Speedway in 2002. Today car owner Ron Fell announced the team has picked up the 410c.i. sprinter from Skagit driver Tom Waggoner. The car is an Eagle chassis with a Gaerte engine. Tom Waggoner has been an exciting high groove driver for many years. He finished fourth in season points racing Skagit this season.
"One reason Tom is sending his operation our way is the fact that he watched Aaron race the Deming series many times last season. He likes Aaron's driving style which is very similar to his own, the high grove and on the fence," said car owner Ron fell.
"We're very excited for the 2002 season. The learning curve will be steep, but I have the greatest confidence in Aaron's driving ability. With some seat time I feel you'll be seeing Aaron running up front before you know it. We are eager to get some track time in this car. We'll need laps to gain experience," said Fell.
"Getting things in place to race at Skagit was a high priority for us. Now we're able to focus on learning this chassis and making sponsorship arrangements," said Fell.
