The results of the final voting process will be announced in early February. According to Schmeh, "We are very proud of the work done by the induction committee so far. We again have a very diverse group of nominees in terms of eras and regions represented, and contributions to the sport. The nominees all share one common element, however, and that is excellence in their given fields of endeavor. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the recent passings of National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Jay Woodside and National Induction Committee members Harry 'Pike' Green and Phil Harms. They will truly be missed within the sport of sprint car racing."
