KNOXVILLE, IOWA (November 12, 2003) - The names of the 36 nominees for the 2004 induction class of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame were released today by executive director Thomas J. Schmeh. The 76-member National Induction Committee is currently in the final election process, and the names of the 12 inductees will be revealed by co-emcees Dave Argabright and Pat Sullivan at the National Sprint Car Poll awards reception at the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Thursday evening, December 4. The nominees are as follows:
