Lindsay Wilson, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was presented with the Solo Cup at Wednesday evening's banquet for his contribution to the Solo Events program.

Bob and Patty Tunnell, of Superior, Colo., were presented with the Solo II Driver of Eminence Award, also selected by the Solo Events Board, for excellence in competition, sportsmanship, dedication and unselfishness. The two have combined for 12 National Championships and numerous ProSolo(r) Championships. Patty Tunnell captured both titles this year, and was also presented with the Johnson Spirit of the Sport Award.

"This sport has given us so much," said a stunned Bob Tunnell. "I don't think we can give back half as much as we've gotten out of this."

Competition for the remaining categories began Thursday, and concludes the event on Friday.
