PUYALLUP, Wash. -- May 23, 2003 -- After a one-two win at last weekend's SCCA NorPac season opener, NayKid Racing drivers Cindi Lux and team owner/driver Scotty B. White hope to continue their winning streak this weekend at White's home track, Pacific Raceways (formerly Seattle International Raceway), located outside of Seattle, Wash. The duo will take their No. 78 and No. 3 Kumho Tire/Redline Oil/Kodiak Racing Wheel Z06 Corvettes sponsored by Suburban Chevrolet to the 2.25-mile road course this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Last weekend's podium finish for both Lux was important because it is her home track just as this weekend's 23rd annual Double National is equally as significant for NayKid Racing because it is team owner/driver White's home track.
"I love racing here and I love having my friends and family here to support and watch us have a great time on the track. Of course I'd love to win since this is personal for me. Let's just hope it doesn't rain as much as it did last weekend in Portland," White said of this weekend's race at his home track.
"Last weekend was at home for me and now we're on Scotty's turf. I always like driving here and I hope we can repeat last weekend only without the rain and mud," Lux said.
Based in Puyallup, Wash., NayKid Racing was formed in 1999 by team owner and driver Scotty B. White. White is involved in the growth and administrative functions of the team.
NayKid Racing will next compete back at Lux's home track at Portland International Raceway on June 13-15 for the Rose Cup Races.
