Looks like SSC winner was DSQ'd, new winner is Cal Club's Paul Bonaccorsi. AS protest against Kelso didn't succeed, is now in appeal.

GT3 Race winners: Pete Peterson, Mike Lewis, Gary Bockman:

Past midway, Peterson noses into Lewis in Turn 7, causes Lewis to spin. Very exciting, close racing up to that point.

Lewis: We ran in front like we'd planned. Only fly in our plan was what happened. It wasn't a tap, it was a hammer blow. We had a strong car, when the track got a little sloppy it was bad for everybody, like a wet race. Oil and grease and water everything, little treacherous, but you've got to work with that.

Gary Bockman, 3rd. Had a real good race at the start. Pete and Mike checked out a little bit, my RX3 is kind of like a brick compared to the newer cars. Tried to pedal as fast as I could. Got by Mike when he slipped off, but couldn't hold him off.

Third title for Pete Peterson. What happened with Lewis? Track was very slippery, oil flag was up, both went in real deep, we got together. Afterwards had to back off a little, getting high temperatures in the rear end. I had an advantage over Lewis under braking in Turn 7; I was able to go in deeper. Couple times we encountered traffic it slowed him up, I could gain on him.

Bockman: Somebody was leaking oil; it was from 1 to 3, 7 to 9, and everywhere else, it seemed.

Bob Coffin dropped out due to a flat tire. Just before retiring, he got tapped in the rear in Turn 7, "But it wasn't his fault. My car wasn't handling because the tire was going down."
