The Grant family, from Tennessee, may be the "first family" in auto racing at this year's Valvoline Runoffs. Carey (American Sedan), Keith (Spec Racer Ford), Kevin (Showroom Stock B), Milton (GT-3) and Richard (GT-1) all will compete for SCCA National Championships.

In addition to the Grants, a total of eight father/son combinations will wage civil war on the track during weeklong event.

The Valvoline Runoffs®, October 2-8 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, is the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Club Racing National Championship event. Now in its 37th year and seventh at Mid-Ohio, the event often called the "Olympics of Motorsports" features over 600 of the nation's best amateur drivers. The Valvoline Runoffs® is the largest amateur road racing event in North America, and features some of the most competitive racing on the Mid-Ohio season schedule.
