10 May 2002: Driving Impressions USA (www.teamdi.com) and the Washington DC Region of the SCCA (www.wdcr-scca.org) announced today that Driving Impressions USA would be joining the contingency program for the 4th Annual Kumho Tires 12 Hours at the Point. Driving Impressions USA , a provider of the highest quality racing equipment and merchandise for fans and competitors, will establish a prize for eligible teams competing in the Spec Miata class. The Spec Miata class currently has the largest number of entries for the May 31-June 1 event that will be held at two-mile Summit Point Raceway in Summit Point, WV.

"The Region is very happy to add Driving Impressions USA as one of the event sponsors," said Jeff Janoska, DC Region PR Liaison. Janoska added that "This is just one example of how Driving Impressions USA supports the efforts of grassroots motorsports organizations."

"The 12 Hours at the Point is one of the premier amateur endurance events in the country and Driving Impressions USA is pleased to be one of the sponsors," said David Parker, Driving Impressions USA Manager. Parker added, "Spec Miata is an exciting new class and we wanted to help it get started."

In addition to their web presence, Driving Impressions has retail outlets at Lime Rock Park, Summit Point Raceway and Virginia International Raceway. The Summit Point store will be open during the Kumho Tires 12 Hours at the Point and the annual 12 Hours Midnight Celebration Breakfast will take place in front of the Summit Point store.
