TOPEKA, Kan. (April 2, 2004) -- Mayhem Racing announced Wednesday its new four-event partnership with CelCole Inc., a Texas-based automotive chemical company.

As part of the agreement, Mayhem Racing Team Owner Mark Utecht said his Group N 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Rally car, which competes in the SCCA ProRally Championship Presented by Hot Wheels®, will be called the "Cel-Cool Subaru WRX," and will utilize CelCole antifreeze. The team's hauler will be filled with the CelCole product as well.

"We are very happy to start this relationship with CelCole Inc.," Utecht said. "It is a great company and we feel good about helping them promote its excellent products. We feel that CelCole products can help us achieve the performance we are looking for from our ProRally efforts."

Last season, Utecht, of Stacy, Minn., teamed up with co-driver Jeff Secor, of Hudsonville, Mich., in Utecht's WRX to finish second in a hotly-contested Group N battle that was not decided until the final rally of the year. Besides Group N, Utecht finished fifth in the Overall Drivers' point championship.

"We are impressed with the results that Mayhem Racing has achieved recently," CelCole Inc. representative Michael Orcutt said. "We were looking for a successful team to help us promote our products to a new segment of customers and are excited about the opportunities that Mayhem Racing and the SCCA ProRally Championship can provide."
