With regret, I wish inform you of the passing of a fellow competitor, Tim Mountjoy. Tim passed away yesterday morning due to a recent illness.

Those from the Washington DC region remember Tim as a longtime fixture of Summit Point and tracks spanning the east coast. Tim and his white #16 EP MGB competed Nationally and Regionally for well more than the 10 years I have been racing. In fact, Tim helped both Jeff Werth and I get started in racing by sponsoring our two IT cars.

As founder of Mounjoy's Autoshop in Hyattsville Maryland, Tim established his nitch in the British Car parts and maintenance business. Tim's knowlege and love of British cars made him one of the leaders of that market.

I leu of flowers, Tim's family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Tim, you will be missed by all of us.

Doug
