Blakeslee, PA…..The Bertil Roos Racing School announced today that it has now been granted full licensing recommendation status for Regional and National SCCA Competition licenses. The school, which is headquartered next to Pocono International Raceway, is now fully certified as an Authorized Competition Licensing School by the Club Racing Division of the Sports Car Club of America. "With this certification, our school can now simplify and streamline the often complicated process of becoming a licensed racer", says Roos President, Dennis Macchio. "Our students can now complete all of the requirements for licensing through our competition programs". As a pioneer in the industry, the Roos School has been training students in the art of motor racing for over a quarter of a century. His graduates can be found at every level of racing from the hobbyist, up to the top levels of professional racing. One of only five schools to be awarded this certification, the Roos Competition Road Course Programs can now be taken at three locations, Pocono International Raceway, Virginia International Raceway and beginning in November at Texas Motor Speedway. The school also operates the only open wheel oval competition course, which is held at Nazareth Speedway. Information on the school, its courses, and the SCCA licensing program can be obtained by calling the school at (800) RACENOW. Instructors are always available to speak directly to prospective students.
