AMERICAN CITY RACING LEAGUE ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF NEW CLASS - SPORTS 1600

The American City Racing League (ACRL), which runs Super Sports 2000, Sports 2000 and Classic Sports 2000 classes will be adding a new class to their Eastern and Western Division series this year, the Sports 1600. The Sports Toyotas, previously operated by Sports Mondial, will make up this additional class. The Sports 1600s are manufactured by Specialized Vehicle Constructors (SVC) of Woodinville, Washington.

Paul Haas, ACRL President said “The ACRL is excited to provide a new arena for the Sports Toyota cars to stage their show. Spectators will be able to see the best of small bore Sports Racing all in one package.” Kevin Singleton of Sports Toyota stated, “The integration of the Sports Toyota cars into the American City Racing League is a very positive move forward for all involved. It places the management of the series into capable hands and allows SVC to focus on producing more and better products.”

The ACRL is starting its thirteenth year of professional competition.
