Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Looks Ahead to Barber After Strong Homestead Opener
Tooele, UT-- (24 March 2009)--The teams and drivers in the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge have returned home following a successful two-race weekend at Homestead Miami Speedway to start the 2009 season, and everyone is already looking ahead to the series first-ever headlining race outing as the feature presentation at the 45th anniversary celebration of the Ford Mustang at Barber Motorsports Park April 18-19.
The event is expected to draw a huge crowd of passionate participants, not to mention a breath-taking array of Ford Mustang machines from through the years. The weekend will be the second two-race weekend of the season, making the Barber event a potentially critical one for Mustang racers with championship intentions. Several of the racers will be scanning their race footage from last season, as the Barber visit marks the first race return visit to a track for Mustang Challenge.
