FEMALE INTEREST FOR SOUTH AFRICA INTERNATIONALS

JOHANNESBURG <Colin Windell>: Petite Italian racer Tamara Vidali will team up with the new South African Super Touring Champion, Terry Moss in one of two Rothmans Audi A4s for the two super touring international at Kyalami (November 30) and Killarney (December 7).

Audi Sport SA's second driver, Chris Aberdein, will share his car with Belgian champion Jean-Francois Hemroulle.

The privateer German Audi team of Team Abt will be bringing two cars to South Africa for the events, but still have to nominate their drivers.

BMW will be fielding three cars for Shaun van der Linde, Deon Joubert and Craig Baird sharing with Team Schnitzer drivers Jo Winkelhock, Peter Kox and Christian Menzel, while Opel will be pairing its local drivers Mike Briggs and Grant McCleery with Hans Stuck and Klaus Ludwig.

Missing from the fray this year will be Toyota who recently announced the company would no longer be participating in Class A of Super Touring - their two Camry racers are en route to America for the NATCC.
