2002 Pace-setter Peter Morris announces RSR drive.

Peter Morris announced this week his plans to run in Team GVR's Porsche 993 RSR in this seasons Porsche Open series.

Last year Morris made the headlines as the rookie circuit driver who took 4 wins and was never off the podium in his Porsche 964, earning him the Team nickname of 'Podium Pete'!

Morris is certainly going to get some serious competition this year in the form off ex-Porsche Cup drivers who are joining the series this season, but he's looking forward to this challenge.

Having just completed testing at Donington this week, Morris comments: "The RSR is a fantastic car. It's certainly going to take some taming, but such a buzz to drive; I can't wait to get out there for the first race!"

Gordon Wardle, Team Manager of Team GVR comments: "Pete's got a steep learning curve ahead of him, but he's already showing all the right signs for success. In testing he managed to beat the cars previous best lap time for Donington, by 0.2 sec's."
