Due to the popularity of NASA's Pacific Coast Touring Cars class the series is going national. The series, sponsored by Wine Country Motorsport will have two separate schedules next year. Teams not wishing to travel nationwide can still run the existing Pacific Coast and Atlantic Coast Touring Car Championship with no changes. However, the big sponsorship money will be from the newly created United States Touring Car Championship. In addition to Hoosier, K&N, Konig, and Wheels America many new sponsors will be on board for this new series. These new sponsorships will allow the teams which normally only compete on a local level the opportunity to gain national exposure and be able to race on some of America's greatest race tracks.

"In a meeting with some of the current participants, all were very excited to be part of this great series. In addition to the big pack of Hondas and Acuras, a few other teams are building other cars such as BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Subaru Impreza, Dodge Neon, VW Jetta VR6 and even a Mercedes C Class. It should be very exciting. " stated Ali Arsham of NASA.

The schedule is taking shape but the exact dates are not confirmed at this time. The NASA office will relase those dates as soon as their schedule is confirmed with participating regions.
