After his first run in the Meycom Motorsports Marcos LM600, Ni Amorim has been confirmed for the rest of the Spanish GT Championship, and will share the car with Tomas Saldana.

After deciding to leave Freisinger Motorsport and the FIA GT series, Ni Amorim was invited by Meycom Motorsport to race at Jarama. Having never driven the car and being in a right hand drive car for the first time, Ni Amorim put the Marcos on pole for the race, ahead of the Saleen's and Vipers, and went on to finish 2nd. This result prompted Meycom Motorsport to sign him for the rest of the season.

The next race in the Spanish GT Championship will be held at Estoril, Portugal over the weekend of 22nd/23rd of June, Ni Amorim's home circuit.

Ni Amorim will compete in selected rounds of the FIA GT Championship before the season is over, and is also looking to compete in the Miami and Petit Le Mans ALMS events.
